bootlaced fly lead

In a list of feautures of a pump.
Have found what a bootlace connector is (http://www.rapidonline.com/Cables-Connectors/Connectors-Sing... but do not know the right term in Dutch.

Gokje... omdat ik denk dat 'bootlace' zou kunnen duiden op het uiteinde van een schoenveter... (al heet dat dan weer een aglet of een malie of een veterstift)

Ik denk dat men met bootlaced gevlochten bedoelt en een fly lead, ofwel een flying lead, is een loshangende / losliggende / niet exact p lengte gemaakte en niet bevestigde kabel.

I've just been looking at a job where the flying lead functional earth conductors of several RCBO's have been ganged in a (loose / floating) chocblock (with several shorting links using g/y coloured wire added to make the chocblock one solid terminal block); then, from that chocblock, a single g/y coloured wire connects to the earth bar in the Distribution Board. Although this works, if just one connection becomes loose, all of the RCBO's lose their functional earth connection!
I'd have thought it was better practice to terminate each RCBO's flying lead functional earth at the same terminal as the associated CPC?

Agreed - the flying leads are plenty long enough to make the earth bar in most CU's. Just make sure you use a CU with plenty of room as RCBO's eat up space for neat wiring.
