Does this mean berries served in a shot-sized glass then or something?

soft fruit

Soft fruit is what we used to call them.

In desserts etc. it usually means raspberries, strawberries, blackcurrants etc. as available or mixed according to the chef's taste.

There is also a mixture called 'Forest Fruit' (but that is usually 'skovbær' in Danish) - raspberries, strawberries and blueberries are the main ingredients.

soft fruit

One would talk about growing berries but eating soft fruit, so, in this case, the term would be soft fruit (certainly so in the UK, in the States it may be berries).
