Those who meet must part.

English to Latin Art/Literary Philosophy Buddhism
Dear Colleagues,

I have three Buddhism sentences that I'd like to know how to say in Latin. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

1. Those who meet must part.
2. Those who left must return.
3. Those who live must die.

Coeuntibus est discedendum.

2. Those who left must return. - Abeuntibus est redeundum.
3. Those who live must die. - Viventibus est moriendum.

These phrases are formed using gerundive. Other possibilities would be using 'oportet' or 'necesse est'.

disagree CGTranslatio (X) : In the second sentence, 'abeuntibus est redeundum' means "Those who ARE LEAVING must return." Better is EOS QUI ABIERUNT REDIRE OPORTET.

eis qui conveniunt discedendum est.

Those who left must return = eis qui discesserunt revertendum est.

Those who live must die = esi qui vivunt moriendum est.

In 'esi qui vivunt moriendum est' read 'eis' for 'esi'.
