This is in support of David's answer to which I have already given my agree, and as an additional explanation of the term "per stirpes" [in the understanding that no explanation is necessary for "per capita"]:
per stirpes; [en textos en español]
división proporcional a la parte correspondiente al heredero fallecido.
Traducciones/explicaciones posibles:
1. per stirpes
2. by representation of a class, not individually /latin: by roots or stocks/
3. proportionately divided among beneficiaries according to their deceased ancestor’s share.
