Some more comments on Sergey's translation:

Voice-over technique, which implies a character’s voice be heard while he/she remains silent, enables spectators to penetrate a character’s mind or permits comments on an event presented in flashback.
Voice-off “refers to instances in which we hear the voice of a character who is not visible within the frame. Yet the film establishes, by means of previous shots or other contextual determinants, the character’s ‘presence’ in the space of the scene, in the diegesis” (Doane 1999 [1980]: 366). - from my own PhD.

The only thing which I am trying to fingure out now is how to translate it into English as it is 100% is not голос за кадром as голос за кадром is voice-over.

The point is that there is a big difference between the voice-over and the voice-off.
The voice-over occurs in two instances: 1) when the actor is silent but we can hear his voice, a kind of inner monologue; 2) when the narrator, who does not belong to the diegesis [the world of the story] provides commentaries.
The voice-off occurs when a character is not visible but heard and belongs to the world of the story, for instance in a dialogue.
Might be I complicate it too much and for the translation of a script голос за кадром can be used in the instance, yet...

It seems that in Russian there is really no word that demonstrates this difference.

закадровый прил. offscreen : ~ голос (в кино, телевидении) voice-over.

Then голос за кадром is an acceptable but not precise variant.
