So SAPTerm translates "Sondervermoegen" as "special investment fund." I'm assuming "Sondervermaegen" is a typo for "Sondervermoegen," first of all. I have no idea if that would fit into your context, but it's a dictionary citation at least. :-)

: Not necessarily a *special* investment fund - the concept of "Sondervermögen" denotes the separate fund assets, which are segregated from the manager's assets

Like Ralf says, the "Sonder-" part shouldn't be translated - it would only confuse the issue unnecessarily. Surely we've had this before?
