I told the client that English speakers would not be able to pronounce this word "Cicche, Ciccia, kitsch" being just three mispronunciations that spring to mind!
They are little gnocchi, so I suppose gnocchetti could be used, but the company already sells Gnocchi and I haven't been able to find any translations of such products on the market.

potato gnocchetti
Dato che di gnocchetti si tratta, si differisce da gnocchi e mantiene sempre il concetto.

potatoes "chicche"
I thinks you really cannot translate it, it would be like trying to translate "spaghetti" or "maccheroni"!

small potato gnocchi
"Gnocchi" shouldn't be translated according to my point of view. It's like translting "spaghetti" or "maccheroni"...there is no translation in fact! It's a typical kind of pasta it stays in Italian. I believe it is well understood like this (the matter is how many people actually know what they are...but it's a different issue).

In fact, I wouldn't use "chicche" as that isn't a real pasta name, it's sort of a local name we use in Italy for small gnocchi...

Note from asker:
Yes, sorry I didn't express that very well - I suggested they used the word Gnocchi in English, but some pasta names are translated, such as pasta bows (farfalle) etc. As Chicche is unpronounceable and/or unspellable for Anglophones, does that mean it would benefit from translation in the same way? |

gnocchetti
I think that gnocchetti is enough: after all, they already know what gnocchi are, so they will understand that gnocchetti are small gnocchi. To add potato seems useless: if they know gnocchi they already know they are made with potatoes

Flash of inspiration, even found they exist on the Internet!

mini gnocchi
This might convey the right idea. It's easy to understand, if a little less refined than gnocchetti.
