En niet in het minst bedank ik mijn beste vriendin, Annie, die me is blijven motiveren om dit te realiseren. En zij zorgde ook samen met haar en mijn kinderen voor mooie sfeerbeelden.

I take the sentence to mean that Anne made photographs of the children to provide the illustrations (and create the surrounding ambiance) for the cookery book - probably showing all the children cooking together (or enjoying the results)

It's difficult to tell whether she means something that she remembers or pictures that have been used in her book. But I think you could use happy, memorable images here. That might cover the ground.
