Liquidating the work orders. Manufacturing company. What is this term? Could it be 'Liquidation standards' or 'norms' or 'rules'? Is there a set term that I am not finding on the net? All your help is always very welcome and gratefully received. :)

Note from asker:
This was my point exactly when I took the job. Unfortunately, I will not be the first person pushed into doing a translation they'd rather not do! Let's see if I can at least put some thorough and concienscious effort and research into it. And thanks for your input. :) |

Hi Kate,
TOT means "total", and PER (in case it appears in your text) means "period"
Good luck!

Note from asker:
Hey Andrea- very helpful, this is really not my field! A question: could I use 'liquidatoin' instead of 'settlement'? The previous translator on this project has been using 'liquidation' and I want to try to adhere to his work as ar as possible... :) |
Hi Andrea- yes, as I suspected. Ok, that's fine. Thanks very much for your help. :) |
