the variability of agression

Without more context, it is difficult to no what the author is referring to. "in qesto caso". Evolvements doesn't have the same meaning.

Obviously that should be "aggression" and "difficult to know". I have either disobedient fingers today or I need a new keyboard. I think is a bit of both.

Chiara aggression is generally an unaccountable noun (although it is used in the plural, but I think inelegantly and wrongly) and therefore refers to that type of behaviour in general (an act of aggression would be a single episode).
So you have the difference between
aggressiveness: variability of the tendency towards that type of behaviour
aggression: variability of that type of behaviour

agree P.L.F. Persio : comunque è una buona idea

"the ups and downs of everyday life", but "the ups and downs of aggressiveness"? In hospital one day, prison the next and maybe a successful bank robbery the next? Take it as it comes.
agree Christina Townsend : sounds like the best bet
