Я не знаю, что там в контексте, но если имеется ввиду плохое обслуживание, может подойдёт.

: 1.I've never heard such expression in this meaning and couldn't find anything on the web. Must be local to where your acquaintance lives. 2. I don't think "typical +" is necessarily the ticket. What if the place is unique in some way?
