The knee should be straight up and down in line with the forearm and cannon as viewed from the side and the two front legs should be horizontally placed if viewed from the front. In “pigeon toed” animals the knees tend to move outward and in the case of knock knees, the legs tend to move outward, causing loss of easy movement.
