relaxed get-togethers / casual festive occasions

This is the kind of language that I would recommend for marketing a brand of beer.

Get-togethers tend to be relaxed and festive and "gemütlich" - which is what "Geselligkeit" is all about.

Another option is "casual festive occasions"

"The barbecue area and the modern bistro are especially suitable for relaxed get-togethers."

agree Kim Metzger : I was just looking for something and thought of good fellowship in my context./ But I am agreeing with yours. Much better than casual sociability, I'd say old chap./A German solution for handling the English language?

Hi, Kim! Good fellowship? It's never too late to enter an answer ... or agree with an answer, for that matter. ;-) // Oh, well in that case, I guess I'm the "moralischer Sieger" here, as the Germans say.
