loss ratio

na pewno było, sam na pewno pytałem swego czasu o "szkodowość na ryzyku medycznym".(medical loss ratio)
W każdym razie wg Barron's Dict. of Finance and Investement Terms:
loss ratio=ratio of losses to premiums earned, usually for a one-year period.

agree KORNELIA ZWIÓR-HOŁENKO : może trzeba poprawić glosariusz

agree Stanislaw Watson Zajaczkowski (X) : loss ratio is also a proper insurance industry term (as opposed to the glossary entry).

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "I think I'll stick with this one, although claims experience is also OK."

The problem is exacerbated for small employers because they are:harder for insurers to predict their true claims experience (higher risk charges needed).

neutral Stanislaw Watson Zajaczkowski (X) : the glossary is less than perfect ;))

I don't think so ;-)))
agree kingusia : Glossary is definitely better than answer no. 1 here. Personally, I would say simply "loss ratio".

neutral Krzysztof Kożurno : This is not the matter of personal opinion but some kind of evidence to support what you think. Prejudice is not very helpful for the asker, is it?

Podałam definicję (choć może są i lepsze niż ta), bo nikt przedtem tego nie zrobił i dyskusja była \"w ciemno\". Nie oczekiwałam aż tak dużego zainteresowania \"gradowaniem\"... Thank you anyway ;-)))
Peer comment(s):

neutral Agnieszka Szotek : "Loss ratio" means the ratio of direct claims incurred to direct premiums earned, expressed as a percentage." from http://www.ins.state.ny.us/lossrept.htm

neutral makary : OK, ale "składka zarobiona" to chyba jakaś okropniasta kalka ...
16 mins
pewnie było "earned"; kalka jak wiele innych, a przyniósł ją do nas kapitalizm
neutral Stanislaw Watson Zajaczkowski (X) : "earned" - tzn. składki które dotyczą minionych okresów.
