Non-PRO English to Norwegian Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters

In a list of feelings/emotions, I would like to differentiate between objective safety (sikkerhet?) and a subjective feeling of protection (what a mother gives to her child, or a big car to some drivers). Is there a concise way of getting this across (as a noun)?
