English term

paperwork

English Tech/Engineering Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) packaging
A checklist from a packaging production facility says this:
''Check on bags, boxes, tape, & **paperwork** for current job.''
Does **paperwork** mean ''documents, paper sheets'' or some paper products used in packaging manufacture?
Unfortunately, no more context is available.
