FICHE

French to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering Foundations
Still on my soil survey for a power plant:

Having decided that the best foundation method is to use piles, it goes on to say:

AFNOR does give "driven depth" for fiche, but I'm not sure how to use that in conjunction with length. Maybe I should ignore the length and just say driven depth?

Confirmation/contradiction would be appreciated!

Thanks

Have done a lot of work on piles and sheet piling in recent years, including for a major Luxembourg (now Indo-Luxembourg) steel manufacturer who gives design recommendations for use of its products.

arrow (?)

Still mooching about in GDT and I found 'arrow' for 'fiche', with the following definition:
Please note low confidence on this.
