meint, daß ich mehrere Briefe nacheinander schreibe und gleichzeitig verschicke.

"Under separate cover" meint 2 Briefe an den gleichen Empfànger. "Enclosed please find" bedeutet im gleichen Umschlag. Falls dies beabsichtigt ist; wùrde ich die letztgenannten Ausdrùcke verwenden.
Entschuldigung fùr die seltsamen Umlaute, aber ich verwende zaur Zeit eine franzoesische Tastatur.

Inge, neither of these options sounds to me like anything a native English speaker would use in such a context. However, if I were to ever encounter either phrase, I would understand both to mean "enclosed", *not* "under separate cover". Also, I have a feeling that "mail" as used here is a particularly German misuse of the term to mean "e-mail". There is no such thing as "a mail". It is either "a letter" or the like or, if we are talking about electronic communication, "a message" or similar.
