Italian to English Law/Patents Law (general) abbreviation
This abbreviation is used amongst the titles and signatures at the end of an investigation report. The other titles included are those of the "ufficiale di P.G." - "Indagati" and "difensore".
Any help much appreciated!

i would use "expert witness" personally, others may have other suggestions.

Hi Michael - I have since been able to ask a friend and lawyer about this - the abbreviation actually stands for consulente tecnico, what I now need to establish is the correct term in this context - criminal law - is this an expert or professional witness or is there another term?
