I assume that, if the shaft is only rotating, then whatever is below the shaft or roller or whatever IS traveling. So this might be what you are looking for.
I originally wanted to say "machine travel monitor" but rereading your description eliminates this. Perhaps "XXX travel monitor" where XXX is the product that is traveling, be it paper or cloth or whatever.
