National Guard
I know that there is no such thing as reservist or national guard in Indonesia.
What is the equivalance of that? Hansip?
Thank you

Selected
pasukan cadangan militer
pasukan=troops, army
cadangan=reserves
Not hansip, hansip is more a part of neighborhood watch, hence the word 'sipil' (pertaHANan SIPil), not military.
If there is an equivalent then 'wamil" can fit into the category. (Wamil=wajib militer).

: I thought KOSTRAD is regular army, though bearing "cadangan/reserve" title. It's not like US National Guard/Reservist that hold civilian jobs when off-duty.

Garda Nasional
We usually translate the US National Guard as Garda Nasional AS, Iraqi National Guard = Garda Nasional Irak, etc.
For "military national guard" (as if there is other or non-military national guard), perhaps we can use "garda nasional di bawah militer" (national guard under the military).

tentara nasional
In Indonesia we don't recognize the term of garda nasional refers to military organization. We only know the term of tentara nasional. Perhaps the military nasional guard means 'tentara nasional'.
