Are these what are called Jordan almonds in English or are they those little nubbins of sugar that you find on the Colomba cake at Easter? If it is the second, how would the term translate in English?

Italian term (edited):
confetti cannellini
cinnamon flavored Jordan almonds
They are certainly Jordan almonds, but the name "cannellini" comes from their cinnamon flavor.

in the UK, this is the term I have always heard of - maybe a little old-fashioned today?

TORCIGLIONE
Ingredienti
500 g di mandorle sbucciate
350 g di zucchero
3 chiare montate a neve
1 buccia di limone grattugiato
pinoli, chicchi di caffè, confetti canellini
e candito cedro
