aeration: flexible membrane diffusers
Rampes fixes ou relevables ?
Relevable ne signifie pas obligatoirement reposable !
The above is taken from a slide show on flexible membrane diffusers used for aeration of wastewater in a treatment plant. The 'rampes' are, I believe, the manifolds through which the oxygen reaches the tank. I am wondering what 'reposable' means in this context. I came across some google references to 'reusable' and 'reposable' equipment, but am not sure what this means. By the way, I am translating 'relevable' as 'adjustable'.

Hi French2English
I'm inclined to see "relevable" as "removable" (literally: "upliftable") and "reposable" as "replaceable".
This gives: "Removable does not necessarily mean replaceable."

2 KudoZ points awarded for this answer.
Comment: "I have still not found very many references to things being 'reposable' - but I am sure that if something can be removed, it is something that can be 'replaced'. Makes sense to me - but only awarding 2 points as still need further confirmation (sorry!). Thanks."
