French term

OT

French to English Tech/Engineering IT (Information Technology) Application of support packages on a SAP system
Appears several times in the following contexts...Many TIA for any clarification as to what this term refers to. Jason.

table object (objet de table) ; table object

My immediate reaction was that it could easily be a client-specific abbreviation, and I still tend to that possibility.

However, the SAP help site (sap.help.com) includes a fair number of references to "objets de table" (google it, +SAP), some in an import/export context; that said, the abbreviation OT does not appear to be used.

The possibility that it is an English abbreviation should not be ruled out either - Object Table is one option that springs to mind. But SAP is not something I know a huge amount about, so suggest you investigate a bit.

If I were you and investigations proved inconclusive, I'd ask the client, while suggesting my options as possibilities to show I'd done some research :-)

Damn, that 2nd option in the headline answer should, of course, have been Object Table.
