I agree with John that more context is needed. If the "Stesura" refers to a written document then of course the translation is 'draft' as already suggested; if, however, it is a technical text to do with textiles, it might refer to the process of hanging out cloths for drying etc.

I found on the internet several occurrences of the following phrase:
"construction preparation techniques including preparation of fabric, pattern layout, marking and cutting". 'stesura' might correspond to marking. In any case, check http://www.jccc.net/home/course_outline/fall-2005/FASH123 it contains a whole list of terms. Hope it helps.
