如果这句话前面的主语是个武术师,(seems like talking about the virtues of a master here)那么: The teacher trys to install in (teach) his students all the following:

1.inspiration for the art of Kung Fu
2.appreciation for the art of Kung Fu
3.appreciation for the disciplines of Kung Fu

see: http://www.proz.com/topic36864

The performance put on by the team made the audience feel that kung fu is inspiring or exciting, and is as beautiful as an art form that can be and enjoyed (appreciated), [or the performance brought inspiration into the techniques or various moves of kung fu and made the viewer like it a lot.etc..]; and that their performance also let the audience realize that kung fu, as a practice, is very strict (lots of dicipline involved), and therefore, its rules should be followed, respected and admired (appreciated).
