German term

Quellenabluft

German to English Tech/Engineering Manufacturing Pharmaceuticals
In a pharmaceutical production SOP:

Ist das Rührgefäss leergedrückt, die Stickstoffzufuhr auf das Rührgefäss unterbrechen und das Rührgefäss über die Quellenabluft entlüften.

Thanks very much!

local exhaust (ventilation)

the 1st ref. suggests local exhaust and plenty Googles for the proposed term in a pharmaceutical context (2nd ref.); not sure if my interpretation is correct, though
Peer comment(s):

agree Rolf Buesken (X) : Yes, but probably not ventilation.

the Rühr...to be aired out via the local exhaust

'air out' is the standard for 'entlüften'. 'Ventilate' means a continuing supply of cooling air. Typically, you open the window to 'air out' a room.
