Comment: "Yes, we agree. We chose "tuklingsbevis" but "tuklingstegn" would have worked also."

You may use tukle eller modifisert, depending on context.
Both would work for software but for packaging you would use tukle.

No, not tuklingstegn ... ;-) or maybe?

handfaringsspor

I coined the term right now, but "handfare" covers tampering with food packagings better than "tukle", which could imply modification of the product, not just breaking of seals etc. And "spor" is better than "bevis" for this weaker meaning of 'evidence'.

Well, \"tuklespor\" could also be appropriate, if it is clear from context that it applies to the packaging, not the food product itself.

Comment: "Thanks for the suggestion, but I think this phrase is too awkward to convey an understanding of the topic in this context, although the meaning is correct from a linguistic point of view."

I don't think ordinary Norwegian language has any word or expression for this, so you'll need to explain it in some way. How you explain it, will depend on the exact circumstances, the expression above is just one possible example. "Bevis for at glasset har vært åpnet" or "Tuben har garantert ikke vært åpnet" are other examples that could be used under the right circumstances.
Comment: "This is a good suggestion, but we need something shorter to serve as a heading."
