when my business has a positive cash flow / when my net working capital becomes positive

When a Chinese says "wait for my capital' to 周转过来, what he really means is when he has excess cash for repaying debts. In accounting, one would have excess cash when one's net cash flow -- in other words, net working capital -- measured by current assets minus current liabilities (in one's balance sheet) is positive. The term we use in financial management is "when my net cash flow (or simply cash flow) or net working capital (or simply working capital) becomes positive". This has nothing to do with one's cumulative profitability, which is indicated by a positive number in one's capital (sometimes called Equity, also called Net Worth), which is really Total Assets minus Total Liabilities. A business may have accumulated a huge amount of losses from previous years, and yet has enough liquidity to repay all debts as they become due. This is why banks or financial institutions are still willing to lend the business money to carry on. Liquidity is the ability to repay, and may not be related to historical profitability at all. 资金周转 = cash flow turnover = working capital turnover
NOT capital turnover

capital turnover:
A company\'s annual sales divided by its average stockholders\' equity. Capital turnover is used to calculate the rate of return on common equity, and is a measure of how well a company uses its stockholders\' equity to generate revenue. The higher the ratio is, the more efficiently a company is using its capital. also called equity turnover.

Thanks Ralph
disagree Ozethai : In finance, capital turnover determines your profitability, but it has nothing to do with your liquidity. Aren't we talking about the ability to repay one's debts here?

disagree Lin Yang : I agree with Oze Thai. 周转过来的资金 here means positive cash balance which doesn't necessarily suggest profitability. But it sure can be used to pay the debt.
