any other options? Could this have anything to do with high blood pressure, heart problems, or hernia-related problems? "HIV risk" in the context of the rest of the patient's history doesn't really fit. I agree that VIH is the Spanish acronym for HIV (although I've seen it both ways in Spanish). If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. Thank you!

Since VIH or HIV does not make sense considering the medical history of the patient, I believe it could be the risk of contracting hepatitis.

Or "HIV exposure hazard" - meaning the possible risk that one may undergo. But I agree that there shouldn't be any slash between H and IV.
