English to Hungarian: Luther
Source text - English (Excerpt from a "history of science" essay.)
"Eight years ago [in the year 1532] at Dessau, I, Dr. Martin Luther, saw and touched a changeling. It was twelve years old, and from its eyes and the fact that it had all of its senses, one could have thought that it was a real child. It did nothing but eat; in fact, it ate enough for any four peasants or threshers. It ate, shit, and pissed, and whenever someone touched it, it cried. When bad things happened in the house, it laughed and was happy; but when things went well, it cried. It had these two virtues. I said to the Princes of Anhalt: "If I were the prince or the ruler here, I would throw this child into the water--into the Molda that flows by Dessau. I would dare commit homicidium on him!" But the Elector of Saxony, who was with me at Dessau, and the Princes of Anhalt did not want to follow my advice. Therefore, I said: "Then you should have all Christians repeat the Lord's Prayer in church that God may exorcise the devil." They did this daily at Dessau, and the changeling child died in the following year.... Such a changeling child is only a piece of flesh, a massa carnis, because it has no soul."

Translation - English (...)To reach independent existence as pure humans, we need to change ourselves first. (So, the prison in not th material world itself, as I used to believe, but a special piece of it: our bodies.) To this, cooperative and goal-oriented application of (bio) technology and eugenics can show the way. (To this point, or even now, eugenics was a mishuided field of science, geared towards uniformity rather than setting its own goals clearly.) Tools which we can use through this journey: increase of intelligence and the ability to distance ourselves from the problems (these two must go together, as there are some very intelligent, but still drive-controlled people, and vice versa, although the former is more frequent), eliminiation of bodily vulnerability (in an intact, practically unwoundable body it's harder to violate the clarity of mind either through incapacitation or through pain/discomfort), and the removal of instinctual-emotional-mystic factors from the process of reproduction (as love is still able to "give you wings": the man who is devoid of sexual satisfaction, feels his life an endless agony, and this clouds his mental horizon; and this distorted vision is also characteristic to the "happy", sexually satisfied man). These are but the initial steps, albeit containing a positive attitude of not destroying, but perfecting the human body, thus not intending to put man out of the material world; these keep man as a material, thus creative being.
