After gaining my subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, I studied chemistry for two semesters and then switched to the chemical industry, where I worked as a foreman for several years. As part of my later self-employment as a haulage contractor, I started learning Spanish. I initially took a few courses at the adult education centre and later at the distance learning university “AKAD”. As deputy manager of a large haulage company, I was in charge of logistics in European countries. |
