Bio

I was born in Argentina, I am a native Spanish speaker. I moved to England, to London, 20 years ago. There I worked in multinational and multilingual companies. Related to telecommunications and tourism. I took part in translation courses at the University of Westminster. I collaborated on translation projects in the technological field related to telecommunications from English into Spanish. I have also translated speeches and curricula from Spanish into English. I currently work with engineering PhD students, providing support in spoken academic English, as well as proofreading their engineering research presentations in English. I have been teaching English as a foreign language since 2014. I hold the Cambridge TEFL CELTA certificate. I am now based in Barcelona, also working as an online English teacher and I am studying for a degree in translation, interpreting and applied languages at the UOC University of Catalonia. I am very interested in doing translation work as a volunteer with social organisations that need help. I am interested in education, pedagogy and the arts.
