Through my MSc in Translation studies, I gained the skills to craft translations that consider the intended audience and function of the text, using appropriate tone and terminology. I am specifically qualified to work in the life sciences due to a bachelors in biology which prepared me to understand accurately render technical concepts in medicine, ecology, and genetics, and to write for the sciences. I am dedicated to continuing education in this field to keep my scientific knowledge up to date. I translate for the educational field, including e-learning, using experience in course building and teaching. Finally, I enjoy translating for the field of communication including newsletters and news articles.
