Medical (general)
Spanish term or phrase: PMO positiva
I am translating a medical report from Argentina and this term appears in the "antecedentes" section:

"Paciente con antecedentes de LNH estadio IVa... PMO positiva."

The only hits I've gotten are for "Progenitores de médula ósea," "Punción de médula ósea," and "Programa Medico Obligatoria."

It would seem the last one would make the most sense since that is the name of, to my understanding, Argentina's state-sponsored health insurance program, but the "positiva" is throwing me off. Plus, I don't know why this would be in the "antecedentes."

Thanks in advance!

Explanation:
Bone Marrow Biopsy.

A bone marrow aspiration is a procedure to take a sample of the liquid part of your bone marrow. Your bone marrow is the spongy tissue inside of your bones that produces blood cells. Your healthcare provider may recommend this procedure to check your blood cell levels. Or they may use aspiration to check if cancer cells have spread to your bones.
