Hardness? Newtons?

Is this in Cyrillic or Latin letters. If Cyrillic, H might possibly be Newtons.
If it is Latin, H might possibly be hardness.

I think it must be either Newtons/sq.mm or modulus of elasticity. If we could decipher the other side of the equation (sigma B) it would probably become clearer which of these two it is. Tried to find it in article with tables on International System of Units, but without success.

OK, in view of the comments from Jack Slep and others, I now think there is no doubt that this is saying that the tensile strength of the alloy in question is 340 Newtons per square millimetre.

agree Natalie : Совершенно точно ньютоны: 1 Н/мм2 = 1 кгс/мм2

Спасибо.
agree Yakov Tomara : Newtons per sq mm (N/mm2)

Thank you.
agree Ludmila Kare : да, предел прочности в ньютонах на кв. мм

Спасибо, но см. ниже на отметку Аллы.
agree alla dunbar : Modulus of elasticity. It should be in N/mm2(Latin) or Н/мм2(Russian)

Thank you. This looks as plausible as Newtons!

agree Jack slep : The sigma subscript Russian "B" (English"V" ) is for "vremennoe soprotivlenie razryvu", tensile strength, N/mm2

Thank you for the explanation, I think that clinches it.
agree mk_lab : Наверное, в оригинале было Н/мм2, а не ...H/mm2
