German term
Durchstrahlungsprüfung
German to English
Tech/Engineering
Nuclear Eng/Sci
The text relates to measuring instruments for detecting radioactive material. Ernst has "radiographic test" and "radiation test" as translations, but I'm unsure which - if either - of these is correct in this context:

Selected
radiographic test[ing]
In this context, >>radiation<< test - with several possible meanings - is too nonspecific. >>Radiogaphic<< test[ing] (industrial radiography) is specific to using radiography in testing materials by transmission of radiation from an industrial radiation source (x-ray or radionuclide) to a detector/receptor/imaging system.

This seems the best way of transalting the term to me. It also gets about 17,000 hits on Google.
Hope it helps you. :-)
