Performance Qualification
Hallo ProZ-Profis!
Ideen!?!?
Vielen Dank!

application/removal
Context rather scarce, but could it refer to the application/removal of some substance?

Comment: "I went ahead with this translation as it was at once fitting and vague within this context."
Discussion
Thanks for chiming in. I wish I could provide more context but this is it. The document is a Production Qualification for metal plates used as medical devices. The asterisks represent the name of a document? program? display? where the "Auf-/Abtrag" is being found? displayed? The document is not formated - i.e. segmented by a TM and therefore very difficult to decipher based on context. The process qualified vaguely has to do with coating and milling these parts. Does that help?
