This is from a medical report, specifically a biopsy result of a suspected tumor.

One characteristic is a description of the cell nuclei:
Kerne: Massig pleomorph, endrundet, hyperchromatisch

I'm wondering about "endrundet". The term seems to be more commonly used to describe the pupils of the eyes during a physical examination, but I have no idea what the term means in either situation.

Thanks for any hints you can provide.

Many thanks to all who have contributed. Donald's term is more specific and more descriptive, but it doesn't appear to be in common use. Most search hits were merely the same paragraph duplicated verbatim. Gisela's suggestion comes up on multiple sites, but still not an enormous number. I'm going to go with "irregular", though I think it would be clearest if used with "irregular morphology" (or irregular shape).

Anne- "end-differenziert" was wrong on purpose. The 'end 'part at least, the rest WAS a typo. But it's German. I'm allowed):)

It's a typo for entrundet. In pupils, it means irregular, but I don't know if it's the same for cell nuclei.

agree Lirka : Definitely a typo for 'entrundt'. Happens all the time. Another infamous histo-related 'term' is "end-differenziert".Are these transcriptionists (secretaries/doctors?) illiterate even in their own damn native language?!
