German term

Schlafreserve

German to English Medical Medical (general)
Swiss German document:
medication chart with Medikamente bei Austritt/Mo/Mi/Ab/Na/Einh/Bemerkung:

Zolpidem 10 mg/ 0/ 0/ 0 1/ Tabl./ ***Schlafreserve***
Oxynorm / 0/ 0/ 0/ 0/ Tabl./ Schmerz***reserve***, 5 mg alle 6 Std.
Movicol Btl./ 0/ 0/ 0/ 0/ Btl./ Obstipations***reserve***, 1 x taeglich bei Bedarf

I am not sure how to take/translate "Reserve" in that case. It seems to be a Swiss German term, because when I googled it, mostly Swiss pages came up.
Any suggestions?

I guess this means that these medications are to be kept in reserve in case they become necessary. Is there a better term for this than just 'reserve', e.g. 'if required'?

Well, same thing: If you get constipated, take the meds!! Most people have intermittent constipation rather than a chronic one.
Note from asker:
How is "Obstipationsreserve" explained since it mentions "bei Bedarf" as well?
