In my opinion, the author mixed up things here - the German sentence should read correctly:
XXX haftet für alle Ansprüche, die sich bei vertragsgemäßer Verwendung des Vertragsgegenstandes aus der Verletzung von Schutzrechten und Schutzrechtsanmeldungen an dem Vertragsgegenstand ERGEBEN.
XXX shall be liable for (any and) all claims arising/resulting from...
No idea where the "mitgeteilt wurde" belongs - perhaps this has been copied and pasted by mistake. Please add a translator's note to make the customer aware of that error.
