German term

in einfacher Ausführung

German to English Bus/Financial Insurance Health insurance
Yes, it's good old Ausführung again. I know this word is in the glossary, but I am not sure what it means in the following context. It's from the Leistungsbeschreibung for a private health insurance company.

Ambulante Heilbehandlung
Arznei- und Verbandmittel

Heilmittel - 100%
Hilfsmittel - 100% für ***Hilfsmittel in einfacher Ausführung***

Psychotherapie - 100% für von Ärzten mit verfahrensbezogener Zusatzausbildung oder von approbierten, im Arztregister eingetragenen Psychologisten Psychotherapien durchgefürte Psychotherapie...

I am also not sure if Hilfsmittel should be aid or appliances here.

Many thanks in advance!

good old version

Sheila,

Was it not you who gave us a list of 1001 translations of this word? :-))

Standard version would work for me.

Dan

Hilfsmittel = aid, probably. I think appliance = Geraet.

And only 1 term per question, Sheila - you should know better than that!! You\'ll be cast to the nether regions of Hades if you misbehave again!

I found this with Google on the DAAD web site; I would think it means \"nothing fancy\"....
\"Hilfsmittel sind technische Mittel oder Körperersatzstücke (kein Zahnersatz), die
Behinderungen, Krankheits- oder Unfallfolgen mildern oder ausgleichen sollen,
ausgenommen Heilapparate und sonstige sanitäre oder medizinisch-technische
Bedarfsartikel.
Erstattet werden die kosten für Hilfsmittel in einfacher Ausführung\".
