German term

Adelskollege

German to English Social Sciences History title
Spoken by a (fictitious) 17th-century gentleman farmer:

"Ich werde jetzt meinem Adelskollegen einen kurzen Besuch abstatten."

Is this just "one of my fellow noblemen"?

Many thanks for any suggestions!
Proposed translations (English)
4 +1 fellow nobleman
4 +3 fellow noble

If you find that, immediately before this passage, they are talking of a particular nobleman, then the translation should be "my fellow nobleman", and not "one of..."
