"Im Wesentlichen wird der alte rot-grüne Gesetzentwurf mit Modifizierungen als Artikelgesetz diskutiert und wahrscheinlich auch entschärft verabschiedet werden"
Came across this sentence today, and can't think for the life of me what we would call an "Artikelgesetz" in English.
It's not a life or death issue here, but I just hate it when I can't find the right word!
Thanks guys!

amending act (Artikelgesetz)
Don't think the translations of the 2 paragraphs below are too impressive (not sure what they mean by 'Basic Law' - Grundgesetz???), but they do give an acceptable explanation for the term. Have also come across the term 'amending law', which one could use, but with the German term in brackets (see below).
From the floor of the German Bundestag, bills prepared in consultation with the Länder for an amendment of the Basic Law and for an Artikelgesetz, a composite act covering the amendment and enactment of the related legislation, will be tabled and adopted without delay.
And:
Since the new Telecommunications Act came into effect, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Labor has published draft ordinances on customer protection that will be incorporated into the Act as an Artikelgesetz (Amending Act).
