German term

Liegekuhle

German to English Tech/Engineering Furniture / Household Appliances Mattress
"Liegekuhle

- Messung einer Liegekuhle bei s.g. festbezogenen Matratzen und Matratzen mit abnehmbaren Bezügen"

From a text about mattresses. I THINK a "Liegekuhle" is a sort of dent made when someone has laid in a mattress too long or something, but I can't find a translation anywhere and really don't know what to call it in English. TIA for your help.

Example sentence:

Mattress sag is when a portion of the mattress sags inward because of a possible defect or damage to the coils or springs. Mattress sag is sometimes confused with normal wear such as indents in the mattress surface or sinking when weight is applied.
