This term appears in a training program for a waste incineration plant.

Context:
Kesselklopfung und die **Kugelregenreinigung** stoppen, Entaschung ausschalten.

Thoughts so far:
working translation is **pellet-based scrubbing system** which I have concocted based on various bits of information - but I can't find any references that bear this out. Can anybody shed any more light on it?
