Referring to the last dataset calculated bein "nicht ausschaltfest", I suspect it means that the data is volatile (i.e. only stored in the RAM, not in any form of non-volative memory).

I think you gave a good translation for the term yourself, so I am merely repeating that. When referring to data (sets) which are being deleted upon switching off a system, I would stick with 'volatile', too.

: "ausschaltfest" means that a certain content or setting remains as is even if the device is switched off. It doesn't mean it can't be deleted.
