English term
atmosperic engine - 圧縮空気エンジン??
English to Japanese

car dimensions
Translating Skoda Auto car producer websites, I came across the problem of how to translate "atmosperic engine". It´s a type of engine used in past for older Skoda cars and still used by for example Mazda

The only possible term I found is 圧縮空気エンジン, but I´m not really sure if it´s understandable.
What do you think?
Thank you.

Comment: "Well, I understood this more as a steam engine used for the first models of cars. Are you sure that for today´s engines you can use the same word?
Thanks anyway.

NAエンジン
hell there. Atmo engine is usually referred to a non-compressed engine (ie. no turbo). in japanese it's 'NAエンジン' naturally asperated engine (atmospheric engine). only the pressure of the atmospere is applied to the inlet of the motor.
