En Western blot, le streaping c'est l'ajout d'une solution à température élevé qui va conduire au détachement de l'anticorps (sa "dé-hybridation) pour ensuite fair le "re-probing", c-a-d l'ajout/incubation d'un autre anticorps primaire pour mettre en évidence un autre antigène.
Le plus souvent on le fait pour "normaliser" sur l'actibe. la ubuline ou autre housekeeping gene.
