Me parece que todas as instâncias com "simplified deduction" são traduções literais do PT, então ou já é consagrada (e deve ser utilizada) ou se opta pelo termo em EN mais similar ao que ocorre nesses países, óbvio.

This is probably not true, especially given the fact that the IRS created a simplified deduction alternative to writing off actual expenses. As long as you meet tax law requirements for a deduction, it’s wise to take it.
